Praying for my home town Chennai. Heavy rains has caused severe flooding in the Indian city of Chennai and surrounding areas. The rain is expected to continue causing more damage .. Several areas have 6+ feet of water, roads inaccessible and food and supplies limited! Please try a Google search for the images of several areas, roads, bridges underwater and people marooned. Praying that the rain stops and help arrives for those in need! Being a thousand miles away all you can do is pray, feel helpless and hope that friends and family are safe. But just praying is not enough… here are some avenues we can donate (that I trust)… We cannot change the course of natural calamities but together we change the aftermath and help the recovery. There is no doubt the water logged Chennai will rise again, but needs our help!
Materials Needed for Chennai:
