A few of my favorite Gautama Buddha Quotes

Reading Gautama Buddha quotes has helped me a lot in life. It reminds me of what is happiness really is, how to let go of suffering, and what life is all about. Here are a few of my favorite quotes by Buddha.

Gautama Buddha Quotes

I recently read and reread David Michie’s Buddhism for Busy People: Finding happiness in an uncertain world and The Dalai Lama’s Cat. While so much of life is a work in progress, it did help alter my attitude towards many things. I won’t claim to be a Buddhist but hope to find my Middle Way, understand and uphold the Five Precepts of Buddhism which are: do your best to not kill any living creature, do not steal, do not commit sexual misconduct, be honest, and do not consume addictive intoxicants such as alcohol or drugs to the point that makes you lose control.
