The 37-story hotel towers feature 1,048 well-appointed guest rooms and suites, including 60 suites. I love their corner rooms with views of the lake and the city skyline. For an exclusive experience, book a room at the Fairmont Gold, a hotel within a hotel.

Why we love Fairmont Austin

We love the friendly staff, personalized service, unique views, five restaurant and bar offerings, seasonally-heated swimming pool, and the nice Fitness Center. Fairmont Austin also had an award-winning Spa (haven’t tried it out yet).

I loved the Spa experience at Maui Fairmont where we had a lovely massage by the pool. Fairmont Spa Austin features nine treatment rooms including two VIP couples suites and well-appointed solariums with floor-to-ceiling views of the downtown Austin skyline. Each solarium has a saline soaking pool, eucalyptus steam grotto, and a European dry heat sauna.

The pool and the cabanas looked inviting, and look like you can get day passes to enjoy them even if you are not staying at the hotel — Fairmont Austin Pool Pass (on weekdays, Monday through Thursday. Adult passes are $40, and children are $25)

Plus, we love that the Fairmont is one of the most pet-friendly hotels in Austin!

It’s just a $150 one-time fee at Fairmont Austin for dogs up to 25 pounds. Service animals are welcome and exempt of charges. The pet must be on a leash at all times and can not be left unattended in the room.

Fulton was my favorite restaurant at the Austin Fairmont. With a grant old oak tree at the center, it is the place to relax after a busy day. Get the Birds and Bees, a refreshing glass of lemon juice sweetened with honey and vodka. The place pays homage to the musical streets of Austin with live music in the evenings. Fulton is a place to enjoying relaxed dining with plates to share. When in town, you will find me under the Big Oak at Fairmont Austin 🙂
