OUR PERFECT DAY IN

VERONA

THE MOST ROMANTIC ITALIAN CITY

There is no world  without Verona walls, But purgatory, torture,  hell itself. Hence-banished is  banish'd from the world, And world's exile  is death.

– William Shakespeare

Known as "Little Rome", Verona has a rich cultural past but is known for Shakespeare's famous love story, Romeo & Juliet.

City of Romance

Strolling around the streets of Verona you can almost feel the romance in this "City of Love"

Make your way to Piazza dei Signori, which is one of the most beautiful squares in Verona.

The square is also sometimes called Dante’s Square because of the large statue of Dante Alighieri in the center

Piazza Delle Erbe, is another Verona must see

Juliet’s Balcony

The most famous spot is Juliet’s House. The building dates back to the 13th century and has the Capulet’s emblem on the external façade

The walls are covered with writings, locks, notes and cards. Every year, thousands of letters addressed to Juliet arrive in Verona.

Volunteers of Juliet’s Club read them all and answer to each one of them in Juliet’s name.

Romantics visit the house to rub on the bronze statue of Juliet for luck and love!

Not too far from Juliet's House is the less known Romeo's House

The arched Ponte Pietra is the oldest bridge in Verona, built during the years of Roman rule
