The last time we were in the Happiest Place on earth, the whole family caught the flu and since then we have stayed away from Disney parks. It is hard on the parents lugging the kids, sometimes strollers and enduring the lines.  But we gave it again&#8230;. When we started planning our trip to Orlando we agreed on 2 Days of Disney, 1 day&nbsp;at Universal Studio, 1 day&nbsp;at Epcot (where else can you visit so many countries in 1 day!? ) and 2 nights at a resort to recover and recuperate. Nothing soothes your spirit like some green vistas. Hyatt Grand Cypress was perfect, the kids didn&#8217;t mind skipping Disney for the two days at all. Resort Review<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our room at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hyatt.com\/en-US\/hotel\/florida\/hyatt-regency-grand-cypress\/vista\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Hyatt Regency Grand Hyatt  (opens in a new tab)\">Hyatt Regency Grand Hyatt <\/a>was spacious for the four of us with a private balcony with views of Lake Buena Vista. Dad and D played 18 holes at the championship Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course. We loved the lagoon-style pool and went around hiking and biking. They had a little sandy beach and plenty of kayaks and canoes as well. The resort can arrange for a hot air balloon ride as well but we didn&#8217;t try it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" Nature enthusiasts organize nature hikes and bike rides in the lush, tropical setting, as well as scavenger hunts. There are usually evening marshmallow roasting.
