a unique \u2018Tajness\u2019 for me and&nbsp;it not just the five-star service or superb property locations, it is almost a feeling of home<\/strong>.&nbsp; When they were many choices for hotels in Cape Town, we didn&#8217;t have to think too much or do any research or any read review before booking&nbsp;Taj Cape Town Hotel&nbsp;for our week stay when we were in South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div and spirit of Cape Town\u2019s inner city with all the opulence and exoticism of the East.&nbsp;The hotel has seen many of the epochal events in South Africa\u2019s history. Housekeeping service was spot on, they made the beds and left us waters every night.&nbsp; The pictures above are just my poor attempt at making the bed for a photo before we left.&nbsp; There were plush bathrobes, slippers and Molton Brown bath amenities in the well fitted bathrooms.&nbsp; We were conscious of not wasting water since water is scarce in Cape Town even though we never had any With the best Indian fine dining offering in the city, the Bombay Brasserie\u2019s Indian chefs cook up some great Indian fare. Opening onto the bustling St George\u2019s Mall, it\u2019s nearby many of Cape Town\u2019s foremost attractions and foodie destinations, along with a multitude of historical hot spots, galleries and boutiques.&nbsp; We walked over to the Green Market to get some souvenirs and beads and then to the colorful Bo-kaap area.&nbsp; Signal hill and Table mountain were a short drive away.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We had arranged for private tours with <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.startravel.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\">Star Travel Cape Town<\/a>, who picked us up to take us to <a href=\"https:\/\/outsidesuburbia.com\/travel\/africa\/south-africa\/boulders-beach-penguins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Boulders Beach (opens in a new tab)\">Boulders Beach<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Chapman's peak drive (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/outsidesuburbia.com\/travel\/africa\/south-africa\/chapmans-peak-drive-cape-town\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chapman&#8217;s peak drive<\/a> and other spots in Cape Town,  more about that soon (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Muizenberg (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/outsidesuburbia.com\/travel\/africa\/south-africa\/muizenberg-beach-huts\/\" target=\"_blank\">Muizenberg<\/a> was a favorite though). <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Zeitz MOCCA (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/outsidesuburbia.com\/travel\/africa\/south-africa\/zeitz-mocaa-cape-town\/\" target=\"_blank\">Zeitz MOCCA<\/a> The Museum of Contemporary Art Africa is another place I loved.
