The superhero-themed artwork was part of a campaign to raise money for Superhero Kids, an organization that provides financial support for families of kids at Dell Children’s Blood and Cancer Center.

YOU BELONG AMONG THE WILDFLOWERS

1702 S. 1st Street

Mural by Summer Miles, Kayla Koslow, Molly McFee, Katie Van Wyngeeren, Erin Miles Newman, Alyson Miles Waver & Garrett Miles. Anything with flowers, especially wildflowers — I’m there. Another one of my favorite murals in Austin! It is right across from the iconic “Greeting from Austin” mural located in South Austin.

SMILE! EVEN IF YOU DON’T WANT TO

1511 S Congress Ave

This cute Austin mural is hard not to take a photo of, especially after eating a Hey Cupcake cupcake in South Congress.

LOVE FROM AUSTIN

Magnolia Cafe, 1920 S Congress Ave

This is located on the side of Prima Dora and I LOVE this Austin mural. It makes for a great photo spot to capture your memories. This IMHO is one of Austin’s best murals.

YOU MAKE MY HEART SING

Threadgill’s, 301 W Riverside Dr

HI, HOW ARE YOU (AKA JEREMIAH THE INNOCENT)

Guadalupe and 21st Streets

“Jeremiah the Innocent,” was originally created at the request of the record store Sound Exchange. You might have seen renditions of this whimsical, bug-eyed bullfrog on T-shirts, and figurines around Austin. But the original can be found on Guadalupe Street, near the University of Texas at Austin campus. Created in 1993 by artist Daniel Johnston, this friendly bullfrog features the words “Hi, How Are You?”

It’s actually the album art for the artist and musician’s 1983 album. The mural was declared a cultural landmark in 2014, and it has been preserved by its current business owner, the Thai food and sushi joint aptly named, Thai, How Are You?

HOW YOU DOIN’

E. 4th & Attayac (corner of E. 4th & Attayac Street)

A simple response to the “Hi, How Are You” mural is the “How You Doin’?” street art. It doesn’t get more straightforward than that.

The mural reminds us that being a vegetarian is not just a fad. It’s a lifestyle!
