The Square of Miracles has gained international fame thanks to its leaning tower and its peculiar inclination. You can get to Pisa by train from <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"http:\/\/outsidesuburbia.com\/travel\/europe\/italy\/top-things-to-do-in-florence\/\" target=\"_blank\">Florence<\/a> to visit the Square of Miracles.&nbsp; Get off at the <strong>San Rossore rail station<\/strong>, it&#8217;s only a 15 minutes walk to the square. The direct, high-speed train to Pisa takes just 50 minutes from Florence. As you pass through the tiny gate of the walls that surround Pisa&#8217;s old center, you\u2019ll be immediately struck by the sight that appears before your eyes: the massive square firmly stands right there leaving you totally awestruck!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tip<\/strong>: Check the <a href=\"https:\/\/italiarail.2lka.net\/c\/2015890\/534928\/9092\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rail system in Italy<\/a> for schedules and rates and book your tickets ahead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Leaning_Tower_of_Pisa\"><\/span><strong>The Leaning Tower of Pisa<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Leaning Tower<\/strong>, which is more than 50 meters high and the<strong> bell tower<\/strong> to the cathedral standing off to its side. It is known worldwide for its unintended tilt to one side, due to the weak nature of the ground below it, inadequate to support the tower&#8217;s structure from the very beginning. Built between the 12th and 13th centuries, the tower started leaning before it was even finished!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These days, visitors can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.towerofpisa.org\/visit-tower-of-pisa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">climb to the top<\/a> of the tower for a small ticket fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Did you know that the <strong>Duomo<\/strong> also leans a little like the leaning tower of Pisa.\u00a0 The Baptistery, the largest one in Italy is dedicated to St. John the Baptist and there is a statue of him on the have\u00a0performed gravity experiments from the tower to demonstrate if the speed of descent of bodies could be independent of their mass.\u00a0 But don&#8217;t start dropping things from the tower There is an 11th-century Duomo full of gorgeous art, the elaborate Baptistery, and other beautiful palaces. Go on an amazing inside tour to learn about the Cathedral, Baptistery, the famous Leaning Tower and visit all the monuments. You can also climb the tower.&nbsp; We took the train for our day trip to Pisa but you can check out one of these tours from Florence if you would rather not take the train.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2
