From the lobby floral displays to the sparkly chandeliers, plush carpets and stellar service, each property seems to be fit for royalty.&nbsp; We were in Milan last fall and fell in love with the&nbsp;cosmopolitan city of Milan all thanks to our wonderful stay at <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/outsidesuburbia.com\/travel\/europe\/italy\/hotel-principe-di-savoia-milan\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hotel Principe di Savoia<\/a>. &nbsp;So for our last part on our Best of Alps trip, we planned to spend a couple of nights at the <strong>Hotel Le Richemond located right on the banks of Lake Geneva<\/strong>. Since opening its doors in 1875, Le Richemond has welcomed a wide range of distinguished guests, from Hollywood icons and artists to international dignitaries and authors including Charlie Chaplin, took our bags, while the valet parked our car. &nbsp;The sunflowers and the Gin display that announced &#8220;<em>I can resist everything but Temptations<\/em>&#8221; in the lobby got me distracted from what the sweet girl at the check-in counter was saying. &nbsp;<a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dorchestercollection.com\/en\/geneva\/le-richemond\/\" target=\"_blank\">Le Richemond<\/a> is part of<strong> Dorchester Collection of Hotels<\/strong>, each one unique with its own history and charm but with the same excellent service that we love. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div is a photo by the Hotel, we had the exact same room  <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>From our room on the second floor, we could see the lake and the <em>Jet d\u2019Eau<\/em> fountain, the symbol of Geneva at the end of the<em> Eaux Vivres<\/em> pier and the Brunswick monument across the street. &nbsp;We had a box of chocolate from <em>Favarger<\/em>, one of the oldest chocolatier in Geneva on the table for us along with some tempting information about&nbsp;Le Spa by Sisley, an acclaimed French skincare expert and their special treatments, and of course the hammam and sauna on property. The kids ran off to survey their connecting room and came back to report there were l&#8217;occitane bath products in the marble bathroom with a nice rain shower. &nbsp;What can I say the Ms. Peachy likes her Provence products. Located on the seventh floor, the well-appointed Royal Armleder Suite offers the best view in the house with 360\u00b0 views of Lake Geneva, the Old Town and snow-capped mountains in the distance. The stylish spot serves light and fresh French cuisine featuring the best of local products.&nbsp;Le Bar offers a large selection of light meals, snacks and bar bites and crafted cocktails.&nbsp; We had breakfast every morning at the hotel which was served buffet style with breads, granola, fresh fruits, eggs and other breakfast fare.&nbsp;
