Any time you stay at a Dorchester Property, it is a very special experience. From the lobby floral displays to the sparkly chandeliers, plush carpets and stellar service, each property seems to be fit for royalty. We were in Milan last fall and fell in love with the cosmopolitan city of Milan all thanks to our wonderful stay at Hotel Principe di Savoia. So for our last part on our Best of Alps trip, we planned to spend a couple of nights at the Hotel Le Richemond located right on the banks of Lake Geneva. Since opening its doors in 1875, Le Richemond has welcomed a wide range of distinguished guests, from Hollywood icons and artists to international dignitaries and authors including Charlie Chaplin, Louis Armstrong, Sophia Loren, Rita Hayworth and Marc Chagall.
