At OutsideSuburbia most of our travels are family trips, with an occasional solo business trip or Girls Getaway – one thing is guaranteed, what you see on OutsideSuburbia is authentic travel experiences… We only share trips and experiences if it is something we truly enjoyed and is worth sharing. There will be no content or products recommended here that we don’t love. We have been traveling for 20 plus years, what started as a yearly travel journal turned into a personal blog and evolved into a Family Travel Portal.

In today’s content saturated market, we at OutsideSuburbia pride ourselves in keeping it real. We cater to families looking for inspiration when planning their family vacations, through sample itineraries, hotel or tour reviews, travel tips, and trip reports. Since its launch in Summer 2015, OutsideSuburbia’s audience and reach have steadily grown.

We are happy to accept press releases or pitches about travel products, destinations, or programs geared toward Family Travel. Just keep in mind that we only write articles about products and destinations that we have experience with directly. However, we may share your news or event on social media so please provide appropriate links.

As much as we love going OutsideSuburbia, from Baseball games to weekly dinners and weekend outings – life happens within Suburbia. Press Trips

Our goal at Outside Suburbia is to provide useful and inspirational information to families planning vacations; including suggestions on where to go, what to do, and where to stay. Given our schedule we don’t do many press trips – instead, we collaborate with partners during our own personal travel journeys.

We are always interested in nice properties, destinations, or attractions with a focus on family travel. We prefer to travel as a family when possible. Our coverage typically includes at least one blog post, plus social media coverage during and after the trip.
